BACKGROUND

Resorts World Sdn Bhd, a private company limited by shares, was incorporated on 7 May 1980 under the Companies Act 1965. as Multi-Purpose Holdings Berhad in 1989, its name was changed to Resorts World Bhd (1989 - 2009) and subsequently Genting Malaysia Berhad (“Genting Malaysia”), Registration No. 198001004236 (58019-U).

Lotto Genting, a subsidiary of Genting Malaysia Reg. No. 198001004236 (58019-U), was established in 1989. Following a major restructuring that year, Genting Malaysia acquired Lotto Genting along with its hotels, resorts, and other assets. In 1992, Lotto Genting expanded into the lottery business by launching a licensed 4-digit (4D) betting service on December 22, marking a key milestone in its growth and diversification into gaming and entertainment services

INTERNATIONAL

In the United Kingdom, Genting Malaysia owns and operates over 30 casinos, making it one of the largest leisure and entertainment businesses in the country. Additionally, Genting Malaysia operates Resorts World Birmingham, the first integrated leisure complex of its kind in the UK, offering gaming and entertainment facilities, retail and dining outlets and a 182-room four-star hotel. In the Middle East, Crockfords Cairo, an exclusive casino nestled within the posh surroundings of The Nile Ritz-Carlton Hotel in Cairo, is the Group`s first venture into the region.

In the United States, Genting Malaysia operates Resorts World New York City (“RWNYC”), the first and only casino-hotel in New York City. As a premier entertainment hub, RWNYC houses over 6,500 slots and electronic table games, numerous casual and fine dining restaurants and bars, multi-purpose entertainment and event spaces, and the 400-room Hyatt Regency JFK Airport at RWNYC hotel. Additionally, Genting Malaysia operates RW Catskills and RW Hudson Valley in New York State. RW Catskills, which offers an enticing all-season entertainment experience, features live table games, sports betting, video gaming machines (“VGMs”), over 400 rooms across two hotels, varied bar and restaurant experiences, as well as multi-purpose venues and conference spaces. RW Hudson Valley, a 60,000 sqft gaming and entertainment space, is the Group`s latest addition to its portfolio of casinos, featuring 1,200 slots and VGMs.

Over in Miami, the Group owns a contiguous 30-acre prime freehold waterfront site overlooking Biscayne Bay in downtown Miami, Florida. The site includes the Omni Center, which consists of retail space, office space and the 527-room Hilton Miami Downtown.

In the Bahamas, Resorts World Bimini (“RW Bimini”) is a 750-acre beachfront resort property on North Bimini Island. The resort features a casino, Hilton at RW Bimini, restaurants and bars, various resort amenities, the RW Bimini Cruise Port, as well as the largest yacht and marina complex on the island surrounded by turquoise waters and white-sand beaches.
